Nginx goes commercial with the announcement of Nginx Plus

Nginx Plus is the name of the commercial release of Nginx, the popular webserver that we’ve used since years. The commercial announcement was made trough, the commercial website of Nginx Inc.

Nginx Plus includes many new features, according to Guy Robertson, Nginx Inc CEO:  “The features that have been added are very similar to what you’d find in hardware-based ADCs,”. “We’re an alternative to Apache, but I think we’re also an alternative to hardware-based application delivery controllers.”
